Dr McGilligan creates a good relaxed atmosphere between himself and the patient. He took time to explain the difference between two antibiotics (narrow and wide spectrum) even though this was not strictly necessary. He was prepared to spend whatever time was needed even though the surgery was extremely busy and most doctors were running late.

I have been a patient of Dr McGilligan for over 10 years. He treats you as a person and takes the time to listen to what you say. Dr McGilligan takes a holistic view of your health rather than simply treating what you present with. The treatment that he prescribes has always rapidly returned me to full health. I am always able to get an appointment to see him when I need it.

Dr McGilligan is one of those truly amazing doctors who general cares about the health of the people under his care. He is compassionate, honest and always makes you feel welcome. If only more doctors and health care practitioners were like Dr McGilligan the health service would be in a much stronger position.
